Hong Kong Media: The textile industry is undergoing restructuring Experts claim that "Made in China" is still competitive

Hong Kong media said that China's textile and clothing companies are experiencing painful industry restructuring.

According to Hong Kong's "South China Morning Post" website reported on April 30, for many years, Pan Jing's family textile companies have been producing household cotton products - everything from potholders and oven gloves to dishwashing towels and towels. - And exported to the United States and Europe.

Recently, they wanted to upgrade the production line of a 40,000-square-meter factory located in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and increase the production of non-disposable cotton shopping bags and cell phone-shaped pillows to attract more customers. However, rising labor costs and slow growth in overseas demand have left Pan Jing no choice but to sell the factory to a larger, more focused textile company in the domestic market, hoping that the new funds will keep the plant running.

Pan Jing, who has been insisting on participating in the Canton Fair for more than a decade, said: “I think there is no future for continuing to sell these low-value products.” The Canton Fair, which lasted until May 5, is the oldest and largest export-oriented exhibition in China.
